The report–titled “What Do Digital Marketers Really Want in 2015?”–surveyed 300 digital marketers from U.S.-based companies of various sizes, types, and industries. It found high-performing marketers plan to invest more in social, mobile, and email marketing than their underperforming peers in 2015. These same marketers report that customer experience management, big data, and the Internet of Things top their list of priorities for 2015.
Additionally, the high performers are moving away from user-generated products, service innovations, and marketing content. On the other hand, according to Robert Pinkas, VP of marketing at Kentico, there’s a growing hunger from successful marketers for software and cloud solutions–more specifically, marketing solutions such as e-commerce software, email, social media, marketing automation, and personalization solutions to not only deliver content, but to help shape what, where, when, and to whom the content is delivered.
