JanrainĀ®, the company who created the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) category, will present “How Hager is Leveraging Identity to Transform to an IoT Subscription Service” at the Consumer Identity Summit on 22 November at 17:30. The event, being held at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, promises to immerse attendees in the world of CIAM, where they’ll learn how to use data to better serve customers while respecting their privacy needs and ensuring their personal information is secure.

Janrain CEO Jim Kaskade will lead the discussion on how brands must adjust to the IoT trend, which could see as many as 25 billion connected devices in use by 2020. He will be joined by Julien Maillard, Digital Director of Hager Services, who will demonstrate how Hager is transforming its traditional hardware business to create a new IoT subscription service offering. Both presenters will share the technical, business and customer experience considerations for this business model.

“The IoT era will see customers moving seamlessly between web and mobile properties, in-person interactions and connected devices,” said Kaskade. “Their digital identity will become the most valuable thing they own. Brands that make smart use of their data will have an incredible opportunity to enhance the customer experience, but they must do it safely and securely to maintain trust.”
