PR Account Executive – Enterprise and Consumer Technology

MSR Communications seeks a media savvy account executive who is a detail-oriented, client-focused and results-driven professional that wants to be apart of a growing agency. In this dual-focused role, the individual will represent technology and consumer clients in the enterprise software, business services and consumer industries. The individual will work collaboratively with the team and clients on several accounts.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• A minimum of 4 years' experience, preferably in high-tech public relations--Experience with consumer lifestyle media, mobile/wireless and/or enterprise software is ideal.
• Demonstrated success executing PR programs
• Demonstrable relationships with both press and analysts
• Superior pitching skills with examples of recent results
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• A team player and self-starter with a high level of energy and creativity
• Clients, reporters/analysts and colleague references required
• A bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications, liberal arts or related field preferred

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Act as primary liaison to media and analysts for respective clients
• Proactively contact media and analysts to keep clients top-of-mind; demonstrate leadership within industry, trends and issues
• Facilitate press interviews with executive spokespeople; monitor/note all interviews and conduct follow-up where necessary
• Work closely with team and clients to develop creative, strategic ideas to approach press and analyst communities
• Create announcement strategies and execute PR activities including press releases and abstract pitch development; development of Q&As and other written materials;
• Provide clients with monthly reports that detail project status, results and significant developments
